How to use:
  1. Prepare your matcha bowl: Start by selecting a wide, shallow bowl that allows room for whisking. Place the Bamboo Matcha Whisk nearby.
  2. Measure the matcha: Scoop the desired amount of matcha powder into the bowl using a bamboo matcha scoop or a teaspoon.
  3. Add hot water: Heat water to the appropriate temperature for matcha (around 175°F or 80°C). Slowly pour a small amount of hot water into the bowl, covering the matcha powder.
  4. Whisk the matcha: Hold the Bamboo Matcha Whisk in one hand and gently press it against the bottom of the bowl to create a stable base. Using your other hand, hold the whisk at a slight angle and start whisking in a rapid back-and-forth motion. Gradually increase the speed and intensity as you whisk.
  5. Create a smooth and frothy texture: Whisk vigorously to create a smooth and frothy layer of foam on top of the matcha. Make sure to whisk in a zigzag or "W" motion to incorporate air and achieve the desired texture.
  6. Enjoy your matcha: Once you have achieved a smooth and frothy consistency, your matcha is ready to be savoured. Gently pour the whisked matcha into a cup or teacup and savour each sip mindfully.

Note: Over time, the prongs of the Bamboo Matcha Whisk may start to lose their shape. To maintain its performance, occasionally soak the whisk in warm water for a few minutes and reshape the prongs with your fingers.
